When a fire destroys a gypsy caravan and kills LJ’s wife, Jess, all eyes turn to the residents of Bartonford, a picturesque village in Warwickshire. With property prices plummeting, the villagers will stop at nothing to see the back of the gypsies. But will they resort to murder?
Student Elizabeth Goodge is no lightweight when it comes to ferreting out information. What she discovers is shocking. The life of another gypsy hangs in the balance – one more in a long line of victims.
A story of family, hope, despair and obsession – no-one is safe while the gypsy killer roams free.

Born in Grantham, Angela went to school in Newton Abbot before departing for the big city when she was eighteen for what turned out to be an interesting and highly varied career with a major corporation. Majoring in IT in the 70s, she completed her career managing major change programmes.
Retiring early to Stratford-upon-Avon in 2002, Angela rediscovered her childhood love of writing. She started her first novel, Lakeside, while relaxing in California’s National Parks. Completing Lakeside, she has since published The Silver Sting and its sequel, The Silver Dollar, and now The Gypsy Killer. Her stories draw on people she has known and places she has visited. In Angela’s own words, "The characters in my book have their own unique lives. They represent the richness and diversity of life.”
Angela loves theatre and everything theatrical and has spread her wings into writing short and one act plays, the first of which is due to be performed in her hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon in 2021. An active member of the Bardstown Writers group and the Stratford Playwrights group, Angela still finds time to travel, drive her classic car, enjoy crafting, entertain family and friends, and get thoroughly dirty in her garden!
