Mark Dando is a mentor, coach and trainer. He co-founded Coloured Square with Doug Richardson in 2000. Since then, they have used their very particular approach to learning and development to provide help for people and organisations in management, leadership, sales, field management, influence, presenting, training, training design...in fact, in anything that involves communication.
Well-being and resilience have been common themes in Mark and Doug’s work for nearly twenty years, but in the last two years they’ve been pulling together many strands and principles to provide a single package which will address the topic more formally. Don’t Strain LittleBrain demanded to be written as a result. It is Mark’s third book. The first two (Squeeze Your Time and Kill the Robot), written with Doug, are about their attitudes to time and to presenting.
Mark and Doug have recently published the fourth book in their Mindset Book series, Coach-Sell-Teach-Tell, designed to teach you how to transform the development you provide to people, also with SilverWood Books.
Mark lives in Bristol. He has also published two children's books with SilverWood Books: The Boy Who Yawned and The Boy Who Kidnapped Father Christmas. His friends think he reads a lot. His kids think he plays a lot. His guitar teacher knows he doesn’t practise enough. He keeps himself pretty busy. He’s trying to learn to chill out a bit more.
Maybe this book will help.
“If you’re thinking of self-publishing, I hope you don't go at it alone. With a team like SilverWood behind you, you have the support you need to publish the best work you believe in.”
