Born in South Wales, Kathryn moved to Devon at an early age and has been fortunate to have spent the majority of her life living between the county's rugged south coast and Dartmoor.
Having completed art college, she had a career as a community support worker for 12 years, directly supporting adults with learning disabilities.
Following the birth of her son Finn, she was then a full time mum until he started school. For the past 6 years she has worked as an early years practitioner in a preschool, a job which has enabled her to further develop her passion for writing and illustrating children's picture story books.
