"Prediction is very difficult – especially about the future”.
Is the future already mapped out, a path that we are following? Or is the future unwritten, made up of endless possibilities? When a stranger knocks at her door in the middle of the night, Hannah Siggers is given the opportunity to find out.
While Hannah was not looking to be the person to save humanity from extinction, Torben Christiansen was trying to change the world. He just didn’t know how. As a result, when he switches on his invention for the first time, he inadvertently creates a link with another machine a long, long way away.
The Vanishing Point provides a solution to the predicted extinction of humanity; a wry comedy with an edge of political satire.

Chris Budd lives in Somerset with, at the time of writing, his wife, two children, and Luna the Westie.
His writing covers both fiction and non-fiction, and is rooted in a belief that the world would be a happier place with a little more compassion and a little less competition.
Aside from writing, his obsessions include music and cricket. He has built a business, a youth cricket section, and an institute, and loves to share and hear ideas.
He is happy to be on the stage, but prefers to be at the back.
